Sunlight's loan is structured as one loan for the entire cost of the system. The loan is set up to assume that the borrower will make a 30% voluntary payment by month 18.

If the customer chooses to provide an upfront payment, we recommend reducing the Loan Amount entered as follows:

Loan Amount = Install Cost - Upfront Payment

For example:

• Installation Cost = $26,000
• Upfront Payment = $1,000
• Loan Amount = $25,000
